We've recently added more breeds to the Breed History category. Some of the added stories are Cassidy Doms, Bumblefoot Greys, Claibornes, Gee Doms and Gilmore Hatch. We hope you enjoy the breed histories that have been collected and look forward for more to come.

  It was recently brought to my attention (thanks AcornCreek) that a bill (http://www.legis.state.ga.us/legis/2009_10/fulltext/hb109.htm) is currently in legislation in the General Assembly Of Georgia. This House Bill, HB109, stands to make raising gamecocks much harder in the state of Georgia and will be heard on October 28, 2009. If you are a resident of Georgia it is asked that you go to the State Capitol EARLY to help oppose this bill.   

  Once again, please show up early to fill the room and make the other organizations have to take a back seat (preferablly outside) and it's best to wear dress slacks, dress shirt and a tie if you own one (borrow one if you have to) and as AcornCreek pointed out "We don't want to show up looking like a bunch of country hicks with blue jeans, sandles, and T-Shirts that says 'Who Farted'" (me personally, I didn't even know anyone wore sandles still). Looking, speaking and acting professionally really helps so please be on your best behavior, it will benefit you all. We hope that you all can turn out and help support your fellow cockers, fancier and poultry industry people, GOOD LUCK from Hawaii!

  We would like to take this time to let you know we have updated the links page by adding a new catagory to it titled "Informational Sites", this section will be used for posting websites that are informational in nature and not exactly related to gamefowl. We also removed the rating system from the links page as an update broke the rating system so we will put it back up when we fix the issue in the next few days (hopefully that long) so expect a few days when we'll close the site for maintanence.  I would also like to point out we have a new Blog that talks about our site and whats going on with it and a few editorials when we have time, so please check it out when you have a chance.
